The tournament was attended by 12 countries, of which [[Denmark]], [[Germany]], [[South Korea]], [[Spain]] and [[Thailand]] participated for the first time. [[Croatia]], [[Greece]], [[Kazakhstan]], the [[Netherlands]] and [[Portugal]] refused to participate. [[Australia]] (from Second Chance), [[Denmark]], [[Japan]], [[Lebanon]] and [[Vietnam]] qualified for the final. Denmark won over nine hands with a total of 658 points.
