The tournament was attended by 14 countries, of which [[Cyprus]] and [[Switzerland]] are debut in the competition. [[Croatia]], [[Greece]], the [[Netherlands]] and [[Portugal]] returning after their absence from the previous edition. Last season's competitors [[Israel]], [[South Korea]], [[Thailand]] and [[Vietnam]] did not participate.
