Its best results were achieved by Calum Scott in Q4-2022, who finished in first place. During the entire period of participation, the country was included in the top-5 strongest finals 2 times. The United Kingdom is one of the few countries that has qualified for all finals of the competition during its participation. In contrast, Great Britain's worst result in the grand final is the last place to have been achieved once: in Q1-2023 when The 1975 received 34 points for their entry "Oh Caroline".
Along with British performers, the country was often represented by performers from the USA, the Netherlands, Sweden, Bahrain and China.
In the United Kingdom, the Q1-2023 competition took place in Manchester, at the AO Arena.
