Worldvision You Decide is a song competition organised by British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) every six months. It determines the country's representative for the WorldVision Song Contest, and has been running since summer 2022.

Origins

The first "Worldvision You Decide" was held on 12 June 2022 at Piccadilly Theatre in London; nine songs participated. Nine "expert" juries from ather countries and the puplic had the same voting proportion and decided the winner. The competition was won by Florence + The Machine performing "My Love".

Participation

To be eligible, performers must be at least sixteen years of age on the day of the first Worldvision semi-final. There were no restrictions on the British affiliation of the performers, as well as language restrictions, at least in the first edition all compositions were performed in English. The number of participants for the season is also not reported.

Hosting

The first season was held in London.

Format

At the moment, it is not known in what final format the competition will take place. The first season took place in the format of one round (final) with the participation of nine songs and the voting of the jury and the public.

Voting

The competition provides for the voting of the international jury and the audience in a percentage ratio of 50% to 50%. The jury from other countries and the public votes with a set of points: 13, 11, 9, 7, 5, 3 and 1 points.
