Australia Decides is a song competition organised by SBS (Australian public broadcasters) every six months. It determines the country's representative for the WorldVision Song Contest, and has been running since summer 2022.

The first "Australia Decides" was held on 21 May 2022 at TBA in Gold Coast; seven songs participated. Eight "expert" juries from states and territorias of Australia decided the winner. The competition was won by Meg Mac performing "Is It Worth Being Sad".

To be eligible, performers must be at least sixteen years of age on the day of the first Worldvision semi-final. There were no restrictions on the Australian affiliation of the performers, as well as language restrictions, at least in the first edition all compositions were performed in English. The number of participants for the season is also not reported.

The first season was held in Gold Coast (Queensland).

The competition is held in one round with a jury vote from 8 states and territories of Australia (100%) without the public votes.

Each member of the jury from each state and territory can evaluate 5 compositions on a system of 5, 4, 3, 2 and 1 points. The song with the most points is the winner.
