| The first "Nationaal Songfestival van Nederland" was held on 7 June 2022 at [[:en:Paradiso (Amsterdam)|Paradiso]] in [[:en:Amsterdam|Amsterdam]]; three songs participated. Five "expert" juries from ather countries and the puplic had the same voting proportion and decided the winner. The competition was won by [[:en:Suzan & Freek|Suzan & Freek]] performing "Goud".

| To be eligible, performers must be at least sixteen years of age on the day of the first Worldvision semi-final. There were no restrictions on the Dutch affiliation of the performers, as well as language restrictions, at least in the first edition all compositions were performed in Dutch. The number of participants for the season is also not reported.

| At the moment, it is not known in what final format the competition will take place. The first season took place in the format of one round (final) with the participation of nine songs and the voting of the jury and the public.

| The competition provides for the voting of the international jury and the audience in a percentage ratio of 50% to 50%. The jury consists of 5 curators from other countries and the public votes with a set of points: 12, 8 and 5 points.
