Australia in the Worldvision Song Contest
Q2-2023

Australia participated in the Worldvision Song Contest Q2-2023 in Melbourne, Australia with the song "Control" performed by singer Eliott. The Australian broadcaster SBS organised the national final for Q2-2023 contest in order to select the Australian entry for the Q2-2023 contest. Seven entries competed in the national final, and the winner was announced on 2 June 2023 following the of votes from a eight-member jury panel from states and territories of Australia.

Australia Decides Q2-2023 was the 3rd edition and took place on 2 June 2023. The winner of the contest will be eligible to represent Australia at Worldvision Song Contest Q2-2023.

Format

Australia Decides Q1-2023 was held in the format of one final with the participation of seven invited compositions released no earlier than 1 January 2021.

Voting

Each voting state and territory could rate five compositions on a scale of 5 to 1. The winner was determined by the composition that scored the most points.

Final

Voting took place from 30 May to 2 June 2023.
