Q1-23Conquiz Tournaments Q2-2023Q3-23

The Conquiz Tournaments Quarter 2 - 2023 - was the 1st edition of the Conquiz Tournaments that has been ever made and was held from 14 to 28 April. This was an online competition, so no host country has been assigned. In subsequent seasons, the competition was held online.

The winner was the Lebanon. Japan, Australia, Israel and the Netherlands rounded out the top five. Three countries finished with a zero result at once - Canada, Greece and Portugal.

The Game

The "Call of War II" on the callofwar.com platform was chosen as the game of this season. It was assumed that the game will be held in 15 days, however, after the 14th game day, the game was prematurely ended upon reaching one of the conditions for an early victory.

Rules

Each participant, upon joining the party, received a random country on the map, with 50 starting points. Each city in possession brought 10 points. The task of each participant was to score the most game points in 15 days of the game, or to fulfill one of the two requirements for early completion of the game: a single victory (to score 626 points) and a victory in a coalition (to score a total of 910 points). Participants were not subject to restriction of freedom of action and their own tasks, with the exception of peace between the participants in the first three days of the game. In the event of a tie for any position, an additional factor in determining the best was to compare the number of all territories under the player's control by the end of the game. If the number of territories under control was equal, then the advantage was with those who entered the game later.

Participating Countries

Eleven participating countries competed in this first season - Australia, Canada, Croatia, Greece, Hungary, Israel, Japan, Kazakhstan, Lebanon, the Netherlands, and Portugal. New Zealand and North Macedonia were also expected to join, but these countries ultimately did not show enough interest to join. Up to twenty-two countries could take part this season.

Results

The game ran from 14 to 29 April with an early end on 28 April (fulfilling the requirements for early ending the game). Participants have a serial number based on the order in which they join the party. The results of the game are shown below:
