Curation
Any person who is 16 years of age or older and is a fan of the Eurovision Song Contest can take part and take control of one of the countries of the world (members of the United Nations). The country manager is granted all the rights of a curator and can participate in all IECO contests. Participation in the main contest is mandatory, but the curator has the right to skip a season of the contest upon notification of the organizers (or several seasons for a valid reason). The organizers of the contest release the country for a new curator for the second season of inactivity.

Throughout the history of the competition, 45 countries have taken part at least once.
