The Special Melody Contest Q4-2024 - was the 6th edition of the Special Melody Contest that has been ever made. It is set to take place in Haifa, Israel. The contest was organised by the International Eurofan's Countries Organisation (IECO) and the host broadcaster Kan. The contest was held at the Sammy Ofer Stadium, and was consisted a final on 5 February 2025.

Eighteen countruies participated in the competition, with North Macedonia debuting to the competition and Japan and South Korea to return. Canada, San Marino and Thailand withdrawal from the competition.

The winner was the United Kingdom with the song "Most Na Adi", performed by Teodora. Denmark, Albania (best result), Australia and South Korea rounded out the top five. The following countries improved their results: Italy and Lebanon.

Location

City Bidding Process

The city was Haifa, who was chosen by the organizers immediately without bidding between cities, and the venue of the Sammy Ofer Stadium became the site.

Format

Season Rules

The theme of the season was the language of compositions, which was awarded by drawing between the participants of the season. Each of the twenty languages was classified under a certain number.

The selected application was obliged to be a language that was determined by the lot to each participant. There were no restrictions on the composition, except, as, as a ban on the use of compositions from Eurovision participants.

Participating Countries

Eighteen countries have confirmed their participation in the season of the competition. It's was the first time when North Macedonia participated in the contest. Japan and South Korea returning to the competition, but Canada, San Marino and Thailand is left from the competition.
