Portugal has started it's debut at Q4-2022 quite successfully with becoming a runner-up and leaving only United Kingdom ahead. Two seasons later, at Q2-2023 they have achieved another great result by finishing third.
However, their best result has been achieved in Q1-2024 by Neoni, who has won the competition with the song Darkside which brought the country's first victory and the right to host the next edition. The next contest Q2-2024 has been held in, Portugal.
