The <strong>Worldvision Song Contest Quarter 2 - 2024</strong> was the 7th edition of the [[Worldvision Song Contest]]. It took place in [[:en:Guimarães|Guimarães]], [[Portugal]], following the country's victory at the [[Worldvision Q1-2024|WorldVision Song Contest Q1-2024]] contest with the song "Darkside" by Neoni. Organised by the [[Main Page|International Eurofan's Countries Organisation]] (IECO) and host broadcaster [[:en:Rádio e Televisão de Portugal|RTP]]. The contest was held [[:en:Pavilhão Multiusos de Guimarães|Multiusos de Guimarães arena]], and consisted of a semi-finals on 18 August, and a final on 1 September.

Thirty-four countries ~~will participate~~ in the contest, with [[United States]] returning 4 episodes gap after its last participation in [[Worldvision Q1-2023|Q1-23]], while [[Iceland]] are so to debut in this edition. [[Poland]] and [[Uzbekistan]] announced that they would not be taking part.

[[Armenia]], [[Ireland]] and [[Iceland]] qualified for the final for the first time.

Twenty-four countries took part in the final, composed of the host country Portugal, another three countries with its best result from the previous edition, and the ten best-ranked entries of each of the two semi-finals. The broadcast of the Grand Final took place on September 1, 2024, at ХХ:ХХ (GMT +3). All thirty-four participating countries with jury and televote will vote in the final.
